Plans, the free trial and limits
Compare the Free, Growth and Pro plans, the live offer and seat limits, and how the free trial works. Shopify handles billing.
Plans are billed by Shopify, in US dollars, every 30 days. Open Plan and billing under Settings to see yours. Growth and Pro start with a 15-day free trial, once per store; the trial is shared across paid plans, so switching keeps the days you have left. Enterprise is not self-serve: select Talk to sales.
- The Live offers and Seats meters show your usage against the plan.
- Seats count members and pending invites.
- Shopify partner development stores get Pro features at no cost, and charges on a development store are test charges.
When billing starts and what it covers
- The 15-day trial starts when you approve a plan in Shopify. The first charge is the day the trial ends, and only if you have not cancelled. The trial end date is on Plan and billing, and a banner appears 3 days before it.
- The price is flat every 30 days. There are no per-order fees and no share of your revenue.
- To cancel, an owner selects Cancel plan on Plan and billing. It takes effect right away, and Shopify does not refund the current period.
- If you uninstall the app, Shopify cancels the subscription and billing stops. Your settings are kept if you reinstall, and a reinstall does not restart the trial.
