After you install Freebies Engine from the Shopify App Store, you land on the setup guide in Home. It lists four required steps, and the bar shows how many you have done.

Connect your store, import your products, turn on the app embed, and put your first offer live. Each step checks itself, so you always see what is left.
0:26 Turn on the app embed
Shoppers cannot see your offers until the app embed is on in your live theme. Select Turn it on, switch the embed on in the theme editor, save, and then select Check again.

Below are optional steps, such as choosing a plan, connecting the analytics pixel, seeing it on your store and inviting your team. You can come back to them at any time.
