Codes handed out at a booth are hard to trace unless each one is unique, and the Department of Taxation's county map lists Clark County, where the city sits, at 8.375 percent. Create one batch of one-time codes per show and put the show and year in the code names, for example the show's initials and 27. Set each to one use and an end date a few weeks after the last day, and export the list next to the recipient's name or company so each conversation can be matched later.
Hand a code to each person you want to hear from, not to the whole aisle. The SEMA Show lists Nov. 2 to 5, 2027 and PACK EXPO Sept. 27 to 29, 2027, so a brand that exhibits at both needs two separate batches and two separate reports.
Place a test order to a Las Vegas address and read the tax line. The Department's county map lists Clark County at 8.375 percent, effective Jan. 1, 2020, so a shopper in the city should see that rate on the order.

Shoptalk lists its spring show in Las Vegas for March 22 to 24, 2027. A store that sells to retail operators or to other online stores can offer a code for the show week alone, with one use per recipient, and compare its orders with the weeks before.
The SEMA Show's future dates list November 2 to 5, 2027, and its site names no 2027 venue, so write the city and the dates and leave the hall out of your copy. An accessories brand can give each booth visitor a unique code and see which codes come back in the weeks after.
Las Vegas concentrates consumer, retail, media and packaging trade shows in one city and one year, so a brand can hand out an offer at a booth and learn which conversations became orders.
