Free gift offers
Give a gift when the cart reaches a value, buy one get one, buy X get Y or gift tiers. Choose the gift, the fallback and how shoppers get it.
Gift templates add a product to the cart when a shopper qualifies. Steps: Setup, Trigger, Gift, Eligibility (optional), Display, Schedule & limits, Currencies and Review.
Set the gift
- On Trigger, answer What does a shopper need to do?, for example reach a cart value or buy certain products.
- On Gift, choose the gift products and pick Added to the cart automatically or Shoppers choose from your gifts.
- Use If a gift sells out to add fallback gifts. Shoppers get the first fallback that is in stock; without one, a sold-out gift is not given.
- Quantity of each gift is also the most units that can be free. Extra units are charged at full price.
- Give the selector a name with Gift selector title. The default text is Choose your gift.
Gift tiers
Gift tiers is one campaign: each tier is a spend amount with its own gifts, and the tiers are saved and published together. Every tier needs at least one gift before you can publish.
Buy one, get one
In Buy one, get one (BOGO), the gift can be the same item the shopper bought. If you match by exact variants, or choose one product, the editor tells you when the choice does not allow the same item as the gift.
What shoppers see
The Display step lists what appears on its own once the app embed is on: the gift selector popup, a progress bar and message in the cart, and a gift badge on product pages. Two theme blocks are optional: Gift button and Cart progress bar. See Turn on the app embed.
Also on Display: Messages word the progress text and the cart message for this offer (the field's help text lists the placeholders for the amount or number of items left; amounts show in the shopper's currency), and Widget style sets the gift selector's title, subtitle, button text and color. Anything you leave empty keeps your Appearance and Translations text.
Out of stock at checkout: the gift is removed when checkout starts. The next fallback gift is given if you set one; otherwise the gift is skipped.
