The app embed is off or will not turn on
Fix an app embed that stays Off or shows Couldn't check: wrong theme, a stale status or a lost connection to your store.
- Wrong theme: The status checks your live theme, which the card names. If you switched themes, turn the embed on in the new one.
- Not saved: In the theme editor, turn on the embed and select Save, then Check again in Freebies Engine by Log Studio Lab.
- Couldn't check: The chip shows a reason. Select Check again; the status is never guessed.
- Lost connection: If Diagnostics shows Shopify connection failing, select Reconnect.
- Cached storefront: Open a private window to rule out a cached page.
